What the module does

Browse in Foundry

Search and filter the entire token catalog from the Tokens scene control. No browser tab needed.

Drag & drop

Drop owned tokens onto the canvas and they arrive pre-sized to the grid with the right visual scale: static, animated, or VFX.

Swap loadouts

Already on the battlemap? Open the Token HUD to pick a different loadout or VFX look. No need to re-drop.

Discover & buy

Preview watermarked tokens you don't own yet and jump straight to the store to grab them.

Install the module

Install with the Manifest URL below. Foundry will also use that same URL to check for updates.

Manifest URL (recommended)

In Foundry, open Add-on Modules → Install Module, paste this into the Manifest URL field at the bottom, and click Install:

Download module.zip, extract it into your Foundry user data at Data/modules/fantasyforgeworks/ (so module.json sits at that folder's root), then restart Foundry.

Then enable FantasyForgeworks Tokens in your world's Manage Modules screen.

How to update

When a newer version is published, the module can show an in-app notice. Use the same Manifest URL as install; Foundry will replace your current copy.

Open Add-on Modules, find FantasyForgeworks Tokens, and click Update when Foundry offers it. Otherwise reinstall via Install Module using the Manifest URL in the install section above, then restart Foundry or reload the world.

Zip installs: download a fresh module.zip, overwrite Data/modules/fantasyforgeworks/, and restart Foundry.

Connect your account

Connect (recommended)

Open the token browser from the Tokens scene control (the hammer icon), click Connect to FantasyForgeworks, and approve the request in the browser window that opens while you're signed in to your account. The module links itself automatically; no key to copy.

Manual key (fallback)

Prefer to paste a key? Open Account → Foundry VTT Module, generate a module key (shown once), and paste it plus the Server URL into the module's settings.

Browsing and previews are open to everyone; clean, un-watermarked drag-and-drop is unlocked for tokens you own, whether bought in the store or earned through a Patreon pledge month.

Requirements

Foundry VTT v13 or newer (verified on v14). Settings are per-client, so each player configures their own connection.

A Chrome and Firefox extension is in store review to bring the same browse-and-drag experience to Roll20 and Owlbear Rodeo. Until then, download your tokens as a zip from your library and import them manually. We'll post install links here and on Patreon when both stores approve.
